I dey hia wit joy and respect, as una don carry me waka enta position of Chancellor for our ogbonge organization, Conference of Online Publishers for Akwa Ibom State (COOPA). I dey tank God and all of una wey vote for me, wey give me dis honor to lead COOPA.
Today, na day wey go enta history book as di day we all sign agreement to make COOPA better. We dey look to join hand wit una make we improve welfare, make we get money sense, make we build capacity and make we work well together. E get as e be, but I dey humble as una trust me and di new Executive Members make we lead COOPA for di next four years.
I wan thank all of una wey vote for us. Una vote dey important, e bring us hia. I dey hail di people wey start COOPA, di people wey get sense wey start am for 2015. Dem vision make sense as e bring online publishers and influencers for Akwa Ibom State waka come together. I dey appreciate dem for di way wey dem lead us. As your new leader, I go follow dem vision, I go use all my power make e continue to dey waka.
I go like hail di person wey waka come before me, Mr. Ifreke Nseowo and im team, dem lead COOPA well. Dem start di work for 2015 wey waka bring Mr. Ifreke Nseowo enta Chancellor level. E try wella, and di way e run things, e show say e sabi. E be like say e go do mek dem learn from e experience. I dey promise say I go use im knowledge and contacts run COOPA well. I go waka dey go wit di support of our members.
As I yan for my manifesto, one area wey we go focus on na Human Capital Development. We go do training, conferences and events inside and outside di state. We go give our members chance make dem learn for ICT sector. Our aim na to give our members all di tins wey dem need make dem succeed for dia work and fit make impact for dia community. As we dey invest for our members, na so we dey invest for di future of our organization and our state.
I go waka wit all of una make COOPA beta. We go dey waka wit open eye, make every member get hand for di waka wey we waka. We go dey ask una question, we go dey hear una. We go work wit government, NGOs, corporate bodies and individuals. We go connect our members wit media and non-media organizations inside and outside Akwa Ibom State. We go dey talk truth, justice and development, for Akwa Ibom State and e no go dey easy for anybody to take us play.
Make I still talk say, my brother, Nelson NseAbasi try wella as e waka come di post of Chancellor. As we sabi, only one person fit be Chancellor at a time. I dey call on you, Nelson, make we join hand together, make we grow COOPA. I go work wit you, I go put your ideas together wit my own, make COOPA beta.
We no go forget God, so we go do Thanksgiving Service next Sunday for one church wey we never decide for Uyo. Dis one go give us chance to carry COOPA and im members put for God hand as we dey waka. Dis one go bring beta tins come for di organization, and we go follow am wit meeting wey go set committee and dia members. I dey open for suggestions for dis matter.
Una go enjoy beta tins from COOPA for di months wey dey come. We go do symposium for November, where members go fit talk dia mind and share ideas. End-of-year paro go still happen for December, make members fit think about how di year go, and wetin dem go do for future. We get many events wey we plan, we go dey yan una about am as e dey happen. Abeg, make una support di new team wit your suggestions and make una dey shine COOPA name for social media.
Election time don pass, now na work time, time to learn and time to grow. E make I yarn say, I dissolve all di teams and groups wey dem form for election matter wey consign campaign. Wetin we get now na one strong, fine, loving and united family. Make we dey think about di unity of our group all di time.
We dey eager to start dis new journey for COOPA, and we dey happy to see wetin di future carry come. Make God help us and make una join hand wit us, we go waka well and lead dis organization wit honesty, hard work and justice.
