The leadership of the People’s Democratic Party in Eket LGA on Wednesday 10th January, 2024 at Eket Local Government Secretariat, during its new year get – together celebration , lauded Pastor Umo Bassey Eno for his exceptional leadership qualities since assumption of office.

Addressing the PDP fold, Eket PDP Chapter Chairman, Obongiwaad Emmanuel Mbong, commended the State Governor, Pastor Umo Eno for his exceptional leadership qualities and his Christmas / New year gifts to the party, he thanked Pastor Umo Eno for attracting more development to the area through the award of contracts for the building of a model school in Idung Offiong, construction of internal roads at Mkpok Housing Estate, rehabilitation of the failed Afia Nsit gully erosion site among others

In their separate remarks, Mkpisong Akaniyene Tommey Ikott, Chairman Eket LGA, Hon Frank Archibong, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Dr Nsidibe Akata, member representing Eket State Constituency, AKHA, and Akwaobonganwan Mandu Abia, lauded the Governor ‘s effort in bringing governance closer to the grassroots.
They charged members of Eket PDP to support Pastor Umo Bassey Eno’s economic blue print as encapsulated in his ARISE AGENDA and good governance initiative.
In his remarks, Chief Barrister Assam Assam SAN, described the Governor as an Eket son, who is familiar with the terrain while seeking for more support to enable him succeed in all his campaign promises.
He assured Eket people that with Pastor Umo Bassey Eno, Eket will witness an infrastructural renaissance in the years ahead.

Frank Archibong, Member Representing Eket State Constituency in the House of Assembly, Dr. Nsidibe Akata, PDP Chapter Chairman, Obongiwaad Emmanuel Mbong, Chief Iniobong Idem etc.
