The Conference of Online Publishers in Akwa Ibom State (COOPA) has reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a close working relationship with the newly appointed Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP John Timfon.
In a significant gesture of support and collaboration, COOPA’s Chancellor, Mr. Utitofon Ukpong, led a delegation to visit ASP Timfon at the Police Headquarters in Ikot Akpan Abia. During the visit, Ukpong conveyed COOPA’s congratulations on her recent appointment and emphasized the importance of synergy between the two entities.
Highlighting the shared objective of serving the best interests of the people of Akwa Ibom, Ukpong underscored the significance of cooperation between COOPA and the police force.
In response, ASP John Timfon expressed gratitude for COOPA’s visit and assured her readiness to work closely with online publishers and other relevant stakeholders in the state.
This initiative is poised to bolster the relationship between COOPA and the Akwa Ibom State Police Command, fostering a more cohesive and coordinated approach to information dissemination and community policing efforts.
