HIGHLIGHTS OF THE FIRST QUARTER GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE CONFERENCE OF ONLINE PUBLISHERS IN AKWA IBOM STATE (COOPA) HELD ON MARCH 15, 2024, IN UYO

1. In-house training session on social media monetization, facilitated by Cavil Uduak Inwang of Cavil Consult.
2. In-house training session on the Dos and Don’ts of Search Engine Optimization (SEO), with Otobong Archibong of Jupiter Digital Agency as Resource Person.
3. After the training sessions, the House dissolved into a General Assembly and inaugurated various committees for proper running of Conference. These included: Advisory, Human Capacity Development, Disciplinary, Editorial/Creative, Welfare, ICT, COOPA Women and Finance Committees.

• Chairmen and members of each Committee were urged to discharge their responsibilities with utmost loyalty, sincerity and commitment.

1. Members were reminded on the need to ensure due diligence and maintain high professionalism/discipline in the discharge of their duties.

The Conference reiterated its commitment to members’ welfare but however warned that members found wanting will be severely sanctioned.

5. Conference reviewed its 2024 Work plan and conducted proper segmentation of members’ niche.
6. Exco, led by Chancellor Utitofon Morgan Ukpong, restated its commitment to human capacity development and acknowledged an invitation by the Abia State Bloggers and Influencers Council to its forthcoming Summit in Umuahia, Abia State.
