YOUTH HOUSE MESSAGE OF THE WEEK!!!

“ORGANIS”ACTION”: SECRET TO VICTORY!!!

FIRST STEP TO DEFEAT IS “DISORGANIZ” ACTION; DISORGANIZATION!!!

AS SIMPLE AS THE WORD “ORGANIZE” MAY SOUND, IT HOLDS THE KEY TO VICTORY AND SUCCESS IN ANY FIELD OR ENDEAVOUR IN LIFE. NO WONDER EVERY STRUCTURE, BE IT BUSINESS, GOVERNMENT, RELIGIOUS OR SOCIAL, ARE REFERRED TO AS “ORGANISATIONS”, BECAUSE THE BASIC REQUIREMENT OF PLANNING OR STRATEGIZING IS TO FIRST ORGANISE YOURSELF AND ENVIRONMENT!!!

EVEN KNOWLEDGE IS NOT POWER AS POPULARLY SAID. INSTEAD IT IS “ORGANISED KNOWLEDGE” THAT IS POWER!!! ONE MAY HAVE ALL THE KNOWLEDGE IN THE WORLD, BUT IF NOT ORGANISED TOWARDS A SPECIFIC GOAL, THEY BECOME USELESS ACADEMIC PROPERTY.

EVEN THE STRONGEST AND MOST SKILLFUL TEAM OR SPORTSMAN CAN BE DEFEATED BY A LESSER OR WEAKER SIDE, IF DISORGANIZED!!!

ONE CAN BE DISORGANISED IN THOUGHTS, WORDS OR ACTIONS. WHEN ONE IS DISORGANISED, IT SHOWS IN ONES LOOKS AND ENVIRONMENT.

ONE MAJOR INDICATOR OF DISORGANIZATION IS STRESS AND UNTIDINESS!!! YOU LOSE FOCUS AND BECOME RANDOM IN ACTION AND THINKING!!! THE FIRST ATTACK STRATEGY OF AN ENEMY IS TO DISORGANIZE YOU.

LESSON: NO MATTER THE PRESSURE OR PROVOCATIONS AROUND YOU, FIGHT TO STAY ORGANISED AND CALCULATED IN THOUGHTS, WORDS AND ACTIONS. BY SO DOING, YOU OVERCOME ALL OBSTACLES, PRESSURE AND OPPOSITIONS IN LIFE!!!

FROM THE DESK OF THE BOY-BOY (HOUSE BOY) OF THE YOUTH.

…Ear,…eye,… mouth of young people.

YOU AND YOURSELF ALONE CAN’T SURVIVE ALL BY YOU AND YOURSELF ALONE!!!

Have you heard,seen,witnessed or encountered any situation that gave and or painted a vivid picture of anyone surviving all by him/herself alone without an iota of direct and or indirect input/support from other persons?!

Regardless of your faith,tribe,status,profession,political affinity and the likes,you are not fated to survive without the direct and or indirect inputs/supports/efforts/instructions/help/admonitions/dislikes/likenesses/criticisms/encouragements/discouragements/betrayals/failures/successes/applauds/wants/needs and so on from persons of other faith,tribes, professions,status,political affinity and the likes!

Think it out and think it well,honestly, sometimes, the good,the bad and the ugly can come from any directions (from those whom you share all with or those whom you share nothing entirely or just little with)!

What’s important is love for all (as God’s Creations) and respect of the good and or even the better of relationships you share or must share at one point or the other with them!

If God had wanted all as one,it doesn’t cost Him anything! Never you deprive others of their rights,privileges and benefits just because they are not of the same faith,status, tribe,profession or politic lineage with you!

That would be cruel,unintelligent, antihuman, anti God and despicable acts of cowardice only exhibited by agents of Satan!!!

Leave what’s God’s for God and allow Him be the judge of all!!!

My humble opinion!

Comrade Dr. M.A Bello (ND,SHI,DCFR).

POLITICS OF SUCCESSION SHOULD NOT DIVIDE US – GOVERNOR EMMANUEL…MPM GETS NEW NATIONAL EXCO

Ahead of the 2023 gubernatorial elections in the State, Governor Udom Emmanuel has advocated for a peaceful transition of government stating that politics of succession should not divide Akwa Ibom State.

He has called on Akwa Ibom people to reject any aspirant who fails to embrace peace once elections season sets in.

Governor Emmanuel stated these on Friday, during the inauguration of the National Executive Committee and Grand Unveiling of Maintain Peace Movement (MPM) at the Nest of Champions, Uyo.

The governor who described MPM as a non-partisan, non- religious movement emphasized on the need to sustain peace which has attracted investors and developments into the state, adding that the essence of politicking is to bring development and progress to the people.

“Without peace there can’t be development, the presence of peace is the absence of conflict, the presence of conflict is the absence of peace, politics will never divide us, political parties will never divide us, we will never be divide because of religion.

“I stand in the gap as the leader in the state to declare peace in the 31 Local Government Areas in the State.

“Today I don’t want to talk about development it’s not a day for score card it is to make a pronouncement of peace in the land that as we move into the year 2022, the political situation will gather momentum, anybody who is not preaching peace don’t open your door for him.

“We are standing here today to launch MPM so that in our move towards transition there shall be peace and God will give us peace”, he stated.

The Chief Executive of the state explained that the recent agreement signed by Ibom Air and Airbus for the purchase of additional 10 aircrafts into the state is targeted at opening the three major gateways that will drive development, maintaining that when the private sector is encouraged, there will be job creation and employment in the state.

“Let me explain this, there are three major gateways to development, air, land and water and the State is pursuing the three at the same time, and the only way people can come to develop your state is when they have access to your state.

“Without access nobody can come, without access there can’t be development, government alone cannot provide that employment you want, but government can provide an enabling environment for investors to invest”, he explained.

The Akwa Ibom State Deputy Governor and Chairman on the occasion, Mr. Moses Ekpo, in his speech, described the gathering as non-discriminatory, as it every peace loving person was welcomed.

In his tribute to Governor Emmanuel as the progenitor of the peace movement, Mr. Moses Ekpo said the peace enjoyed in the state in the past six years was unprecedented and evident that the leader of the state is an embodiment of peace.

He urged the newly inaugurated executives of the MPM to ensure a peaceful transition in the governance of the state while praying that whoever emerges as the successor of the incumbent governor will be a man of peace with the interest of the state at heart.

In his acceptance speech, the Chairman/National Coordinator, Maintain Peace Movement (MPM), Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem, thanked Governor Udom Emmanuel for giving him opportunity to serve, describing him as a builder who has united the party giving all the sense of belonging.

Enoidem enjoined members of the party to take advantage of the ongoing PDP membership registration exercise and register with a proof of party membership card which will serve as an asset to them at the polls.

The newly inaugurated national executives of MPM include Barr. Emmanuel Enoidem as chairman, Hon Aniekan Bassey as
Deputy National Chairman, Prince Enobong Uwah as Secretary, Sir Monday Uko as Coordinator and 32 others.

NIGER DELTA YOUTH PARLIAMENT AND NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS’ STORM COMMERCIAL DRIVERS ASSOCIATION

ATTENTION !!! ATTENTION !!! ATTENTION!!!

NIGER DELTA YOUTH PARLIAMENT AND NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS’ STORM COMMERCIAL DRIVERS ASSOCIATION EMERGENCY MEETING TODAY OVER INCREASE OF TRANSPORTATION

Vows To Hit The Streets If Positive Compromise Is Not Met

18th November, 2021

Earlier today, we were shocked to our bone marrows when we saw a press release from the Unified Commercial Drivers Association Cross River State pre- informing the general public about their plans to Hike the price of short transportation fee in calabar, as member of the Niger Delta Youth PARLIAMENT we deemed it fit after wide consultantion in consensus with Honourable Akobi Nelson, member representing Bekwarra/Obudu/Obanliku federal Constituency and the Chairman of the Apex body of Nigerian Students Comr. Icha Godswil to storm the emergency meeting of the Drivers Association in order to lay bare our clamour for non- increasement of the fee.

When we stormed the meeting, the Chairman of the Association Pastor Thomas Effiong Okon warmly received us and upon tick deliberations, the Chairman noted as following;

1- that the intention of increasement is not political and does not have any thing to do with the Government of Cross River State;

2- that even Government Officials specifically the Commissioner of Transport have made calls to this effect;

3- that in collaboration with all interested Associations in the State, negotiations are open especially with the Businesses in charge of the various commodities being the reasons for the the propose Hike;

4- the Chairman accordingly appraised our concern and indicated our positive interest to our clamour.

Therefore, we hereby clamour for the following in the spirit of oneness and solidarity;

1- that as Niger Delta Youth Parliament and the Apex Students’ Association of Nigerian of Cross River State we say NO to the proposed increasement;

2-that we would also engage the relevant Businesses to reach a viable compromise before 12 a.m on Monday being the deadline for their proposed increasement;

3- that in as much as we concern with the welfare of the Unified Commercial Drivers, we also concern with the welfare of the vibrant youths of the NIGER DELTA and NIGERIAN STUDENTS’ and would be ready to hit the street if it turns out that the negotiation is not positive to us;

4- that we in conjunction would not fail to demonstrate that it is always Victoria arceta and Uhuru.

As a progressive Youths, our dreams is to see positive innovations in the State and not dissenting occurrences.

Again, FIRS Debunks “Tales” On Its 2022 Budget

Again, FIRS Debunks “Tales” On Its 2022 Budget

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has disclaimed the information across the media that “the total budget of the FIRS stands at N228 billion” in the 2022 budget proposal, describing it as blatantly untrue.

In a statement issued on Friday, Johannes Wojuola, Special Assistant on Media and Communication to the Chairman of FIRS, claimed that the figures reported were grave misrepresentations of the budget proposal.

The statement read, “One of these reports claim that the Service had delivered its budget estimates to the two chambers of the National Assembly. This is not true. Instead, the draft budget estimate was submitted only to the House Committee on Finance. Also, the claim that “the total budget of the FIRS stands at N228 billion” is blatantly untrue.

“Furthermore, staffs of the FIRS do not wear uniforms. It should be obvious to everyone that the reference that has been made to the budget for uniforms is not only false but also a misrepresentation of the facts. What has been referred to as Uniform is the Corporate Outfit (Dressing Allowance) enjoyed by all the staff. It is nothing short of deliberate mischief that the word “uniform” was used in place of the dressing allowance statutorily provided for the over 11,000 staff of the Service, in order to misinform the Nigerian public.

“Similarly, the sum of N17.8 billion being bandied as an estimate for miscellaneous expenses is grossly false. Surely, the correct figure is N11.36 billion which represents the estimate for key administrative expenses for the whole year that the Service proposed to the National Assembly, being an amount that would be incurred when approved, in respect of its over 500 operating offices and functions as well as for its 11,300 workforce. For clarity, the estimated expenses are for medical costs for over 11,300 staff, publicity, adverts & taxpayer education, welfare packages & festivity allowance to staff, corporate outfit grant (dressing allowance to staff), honorarium & sitting allowance for staff/stakeholders, sporting activities, postage and courier services.

“The public is therefore to note that the amount budgeted for the above-listed items represent merely 5.26% of the total budget estimate for the year, 2022.

“Rest assured, the FIRS will fully justify the estimates it has put forward in its budget proposal. The sums were duly and carefully provided after due needs assessment of the Service and beyond.

“With these details of well-intentioned provisions in the budgetary estimates which were put together by the relevant departments in the Service, it is crystal clear that the Management is conscientiously committed to quality service delivery and staff welfare. Therefore, Management will continue to do everything within the limits of available resources to motivate and buoy up the morale of the staff.

“As a revenue-generating agency, the FIRS have an enormous task, especially with dwindling revenue from the oil-sector, to expand and harness the untapped tax-base of the country and mobilise revenue for the Federation, so that governments across the three tiers can deliver on their mandates to Nigerians.

“The Management of the FIRS, therefore, frowns at uncharitable attempts to drag its well-wrought tax administration efforts into the murky waters of politics, as doing so will not serve any positive purpose.

CONGRATULATIONS! MR SHUAIBU USMAN LEMAN
